INTERNATIONAL ELECTIONS June 2024

Mauritania:-

‍ In the 2024 Presidential elections in Mauritania, incumbent President Mohamed Old Ghazouani was re-elected with 56.12% of the vote. His party, El Insaf, dominated the election, ensuring a significant majority in the National Assembly.

The main opposition candidate, Biram Dah Abeid from the Democratic Alternation Pole, secured 22.10% of the vote. Other notable candidates included Hamadi Sidi El Moktar from the National Rally for Reform and Development, who received 12.78%, and El Id Ould Mohameden from the Republican Front for Unity and Democracy, with 3.57%.

This election had a turnout of approximately 55.39%, reflecting the participation of the Mauritanian electorate in this crucial vote.

India:-

India Parliamentary 7 Phase elections by ECI were under way from 19^th April 2024 to June 1^st 2024 concluding with Election Results announced on June 4^th 2024 where in the Ruling National Democratic Alliance of Parties Led By BJP returned back to Union Central Elected Govt Administration Authority Power by virtue of being the Largest Pre Poll Alliance of India National and State Political Parties with JD(U) and TDP being the other two important political Partner Parties with the expected LS MP count that should have crossed 272 but NDA got 294 after election results

were announced this despite the other national Alliance of I.N.D.I.A Alliance being victorious to the extent of their electoral prospects which from about 130 to 234 LS MPs which happened to be far less than 272 and hence NDA was able to form their Third Consecutive Government and the Fourth NDA govt overall in the Union Central Govt of India which is Bharath as Per Article 1 of Virtous India Constitution of 25^th Jan 1950. NDA Alliance was led by Shri Narendra Modi of BJP and INDIA Alliance was led by Shri Mallikarjun Kharge of INC.

Mongolia :-

‍ The national parliamentary elections in Mongolia were held on June 28, 2024, and the results were significant in shaping the future political landscape of the country. Here's a summary of the party-wise results:        a) Mongolian People's Party (MPP): Vote Share: Approximately 54%, Seats Won: 68 out of 126 seats

Democratic Party: Vote Share: About 31%, Seats Won: 45 seats

HUN Party (National Labor Party): Vote Share: Around 10%, Seats Won: 10 seats

Other Parties and Independents :- These included smaller parties and independent candidates who collectively secured the remaining seats, totaling about 3 seats in the parliament.
